He Knows Your Value

How much God values us can be seen by the death of Jesus on the cross. He gave his life and poured out his blood for our sins. Stop sinning and place you faith in Jesus will lift us up and teach us to walk with God; We begin to experience the love and acceptance of the Heavenly Father; our personal relation with Him starts to grow; we realize that Jesus was punished for us and now we are not under the judgment of God. The new person we have become starts to manifest the change we have always looked for.

Receive God's salvation; you are very valuable in the eyes of Him that really matters... God the Father loves you and He knows your great value.

Our Gift from God

We are created in the likeness and image of God, but because of our evil actions we live without hope. We live with the need to win acceptance and approval of others; we believe that we deserve to be punished; we are convinced that cannot change. As hard we try and fight, we do not feel successful nor valuable. Instead we feel discouraged and defeated.

God responded to all this when he sent his only son to die for us. Corinthians says, Christ didn't even commit one sin; but for us, God made him sin so we could have an open relationship with him.

Receive this gift of God and start your way to change and the realization of the great value God placed in you.

Personal Value and Worth

Where does personal value and worth come from? Do you think you are special or have value as a person because you are pretty, rich or intelligent? ...because you are of a certain political party or religion? ...because you studied at a certain school or come from an important family? These things do not give true value to your life. Our true worth comes from our Maker... God the Father, Creator of the Universe... not from our family, our past, nor our achievements.

Acknowledging the principle of personal worth because God is our maker, we must accept and appreciate the value our friends, family members and even our enemies. If we are all special, created by God, we must treat each accordingly. Value and appreciate your neighbor... show them how special they are.

Eph 2:10

The Value of Love

Yes, we can increase the value of our lives by investing our time in loving our neighbor and in a personal relation with God.

Loving our neighbor produces a harvest of positive and long lasting relationships. Nobody has more love than this, that he would give his life for his friends. Only the Eternal Father has that true type of love for others.

In this way we know love: that Jesus gave his life for us! What a great love and a marvelous relationship! It is worth the effort to invest our lives in a personal and intimate relationship with God.

The wise use of our time in actions of unconditional love and a secure relation with Father God will give us an extraordinary life... a priceless jewel.

Time and the Value of Life

Time, love and our eternal relation give value to life! Time is a divine gift. We have only one chance to use the 24 hours of today; we cannot reinvest them. In this way time is a jewel limited in its quantity. We must use it well.

The wise man said, everything has its time, everything under heaven has its hour... using our time well, like a jewel well cut, increases its value.

The psalmist said, Lord help me know... how long I will live, so I can understand how short my life is. Then, we will study more, work harder, love others, seek for God... now is the best moment to invest our time well.

Value in Life

What is worth more, living for the moment or investing in your future? We must determine what gives value to life and pursue what is most important without loosing the most valuable.

Precious jewels are worth so much because of their limited quantity, intrinsic value and because they last forever. There are similar things in life. What in our lives that has limited quantity? ...time; what in the most beautiful part of life? ... love; and what in our lives lasts forever? ... an intimate relation with God.

As we make decisions and evaluate our activities, we must consider the use of our time, the love we express to others and our personal relation with God. This is the only way we can enjoy to the maximum the true value of life.

Perseverance

Trust in God leads to perseverance. Because of faith we can be tenacious and strong. We will not turn loose of the future God has promised; nor will we detour from the goals He has given us.

We will be strong as the rock... constant as our LORD who is the same yesterday, today and forever... full of love, patience, faith and hope. Always persevering to the end.

Perseverance is the characteristic that causes a person to not detour from being faithful to God and His purposes, no matter how great the difficulties. It is that which never lets go of the hand of God. It leads us to hope and faith, towards the marvelous future and plans of God for our lives. Perseverance until the end is achieved!

Persistence, Tenacity and Permanence

Perseverance has to do with persistence, tenacity and permanence. Proverbs days the righteous man falls seven times and gets up every time. Psalms challenges us: "If they fall, they will not stay down." To persevere doesn't mean we no longer fall. It means we always get up after falling.

It is said, that although violence robs us of our possessions , temptations challenge our minds and afflictions weight our bodies, the one that perseveres always emerges victorious; each time he passes through the fire he comes out brighter and more refined.

Why? Because God holds up the righteous. Trust the God is always walking with you and that he will take all that happens to you and make it work for your advantage and good. That is why we can persevere.

Perseverance - Making it to the End

Making it to the end is the goal of life and that is why we need perseverance. Even looking at adverse influences opposing offenses or destructive discouragement, we must stay strong.

All of us find ourselves in difficult and negative situations and in these moments the only thing we want to do is throw in the towel, give up and forget about fighting for what is good, correct and excellent. But, we know that the way to respond in these key moments in our lives determines how the rest of our life will turn out.

Are we willing to run against the wind? Or are we going to give in to the pressures of life? To be successful and finish victoriously, we must be tenacious and decide to persevere.

God Gives Us Hope

James says that faith without actions produces no results.

If we are thinking about doing something with our lives, we will demonstrate this hope as we move ourselves towards the goals we want to achieve. If one dreams of having a well paying job, he must take the steps towards that goal. He must finish high school and study in the university. His hope will be seen by the steps taken to enroll in the university and the diligence he applies to his studies.

With God it's the same. We can see we have faith when we obey God and His Words; when we live what we say! Faith is the assurance of what we hope for, the evidence of what we do not see. Let's put our faith in God. He will give us hope.

Faith and Hope

Faith is the complete certainty of receiving what you are waiting [hoping] for; the assurance of the reality of the things we do not see.

When we sit in a chair we demonstrate faith. Few are the times we check the chair to see if it will really hold us up, instead, we sit in the chair confident that we will not fall. The same happens when we make a purchase that will not be delivered for 3 days. The receipt is the evidence that we have what we paid for.

Our faith is the security and guarantee for the promises God has given us. When we place our faith in God and His words we can be certain He will deliver what we are hoping for.

Hebrews 11:1

A Hope Filled Future

God has plans for our well being and not for evil, with the purpose of giving us a hope filled future!

How wonderful God is. He wants us to be happy and to have hope, but to do great things requires faith. Even though we face apparently impossible circumstances, we must believe that "nothing is impossible for God." This faith must be placed in the promises of God... they will never fail us; they will always come to pass. Not even the smallest word will fail to be true.

If you want to have faith, seek a personal relation with God. Certainly the Heavenly Father wants the best for you. With God nothing is impossible.

In Him there is hope.

Jeremiah 29:11

A Precious and Priceless Treasure

We all would take good care of a high priced treasure and that is why we should take care of our friendships.

One protects a friendship with the correct attitude of acknowledging the best that is in the other instead of believing everything one hears. Proverbs says, "a whisperer [one who repeats what he hears] separates close friends," but a faithful friend seeks to edify and console.

It's costly to be a good friend because you must give your life for the other. Is there a higher price one could pay? But remember, a friend is a priceless treasure.

There is a friend that gave his life so we could live happily: Jesus Christ. He is the best of all friends. Look for him and you'll find a true friend; a treasure of incalculable value.

Proverbs 16:28

A Secure Defense

A part of the treasure we find in a friend is the risk they take to help us see our blind side. They say, "Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel." We need somebody we can trust to give us the best recommendation in difficult situations or correction in a complicated situation. But, giving counsel or correction isn't all.

Although a friend knows the weaknesses of another, their relation does not change; they continue as friends. The faithful friend "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things" because the true friend is full of love.

The true friend is certainly a secure and safe protection: a priceless treasure.

Proverbs 27:9; 1 Corintians 13

A Beautiful Word

"Friend," what a beautiful word.

A true friend is a person you know well and regard with affection and trust, without goals or designs of personal gain.

The truth is that we all are looking for friends, because we all have the need for somebody in whom we can confide and trust. We need somebody that will always love us no matter how bad we have failed or how bad our circumstances and situations are.

How can we find that friend? Proverbs teaches us that we must be friendly if we are to have friends. Being a faithful friend we'll help us find that true friend. This is the way we can find a priceless treasure, a true and faithful friend.

How awesome it is to have a good friend.
